Backyardigans: Escape from the Tower

I can’t stop my kids from singing their theme song: “Your backyard friends the Backyardigans…” over, and over, and over again. So, this DVD was obviously a pleasure for my children to watch. The fact that I end up singing it, too, however, is a little disturbing. I guess its all good, and this DVD gets the full 5 stars.
In the title episode, Tasha and Uniqua are two beautiful princesses locked in a tower, trying to escape guards Pablo and Tyrone. The DVD also includes two additional episodes from the hit series, as well as a never-before-seen episode of the live-action preschool music series “The Fresh Beat Band.”
The three episodes are as follows:
- Break Out! - Tasha and Uniqua try to escape Pablo and Tyrone’s Prison Tower
- Los Galacticos – The Mexican Mariachi Band “Los Galacticos” accidentally blasts off into space to save the Earth from teh gooey aliens Uniqua and Austin
- For the Love of Socks - The Backyardigans are making socks at the sock factory when something goes wrong. They venture into the sock machine itself to save the future of socks for all humanity.
All in all, this is a fantastic DVD for your kids. My kids absolutely loved the music from tthe Fresh Beat Band, and yours probably will too!
